Little Francis CARES is an opportunity for our young preschoolers to engage in meaningful service activities. CARES stands for Children Acting Responsibly and Engaging in Service. Parent volunteers help by leading a lesson which raise awareness to a local need and then facilitates participation in an age appropriate service project. The activities this past year were:
- Making Dog Biscuits for the Wake SPCA in preparation for celebrating the Feast of St. Francis.
- Assembling Hot Cocoa Kits for Oak City Outreach Center in January
- Assembling soup kits for Our Lady of the Rosary in Louisburg during the month of March
